OK.... so I'm leaving this stoplight to make a 90 degree turn to the left... I don't nail it... but I don't creep away either... mabye 70% throttle.... halfway through the turn... all 4 frickin wheels break loose and I'm drifting through the intersection! After doing a quick check to make sure I don't have any mud in my pants... I correct and am on my way... lol. (I'm sure it looked pretty cool to the bystanders... :-) My tires... which have performed flawlessly since I've had em are Yokohama Nexus' in 225-50-16.... about 20k miles on em... still tread left... but definately in their golden years... the ground was really cold... and I am hoping that this is why they broke loose so easily and that they are still safe to drive on limitedly for a few more months... What do you think? Looks like I'm gonna have to pony up the $2700 for SSR GT1s and Yokohama AVS Sports soon though... ;-)
